If you have completed class 8 and looking for a job, you can now get a job opportunity besides education through Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, which has also launched courses for people with Passed class 8.

Many such courses have been started in which interested students can be admitted. Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, formerly Kanpur University, is the first university in the state where students who have passed grades 8 and 10 can gain admission.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THESE COURSES

To gain admission into these new courses, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University students must have passed Class 8 or Class 10.

Students must be at least 12 years old to be admitted to classes for Class 8 students.

COURSE DETAILS

Kanpur University has launched 20 new courses for students who have completed Class 8.

After completing these courses, the trained candidates will be able to get a job.

Classes are mainly about dance, music and other skills. New courses include those for central carpenter, plumber, welder, electrician, in addition to music in tabla, sitar, folk dance in dance, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, guitar, violin, harmonium keyboard, etc.

Twenty places have been allocated for each of the courses and the fees vary from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000.

Those who have passed class 10 can also be admitted to these courses.

Many ITIs and polytechnics have been started for them by the UIET department of the university.
