One student and three graduate students of the Urals Federal University have reached the final of the VII All-Russian Youth Research Competition and will participate in the forum “Science of the Future – Science of Youth”. From August 23 to 26 in Novosibirsk, they will present their research work in four sections: information technology and mathematics, life sciences and medicine, social sciences, chemistry and chemical technology.
Maria Chikir will talk about layer-by-layer concrete application technology for building structures. Sergey Buynachev will discuss the influence of pH on the formation of zirconium hydroxide. Evgeny Bakhtin will focus on the casualization of work. Ali Sadek will describe age-related cellular changes in rats.
Forum participants will attend lectures given by international scientists, master classes and training programs. One of the central events is a competition for research papers, in which students and graduate students from different regions of Russia will present their work to the authoritative scientific jury. This year, more than 2.5 thousand applications were received for the competition. 345 students and postgraduates reached the final, including four UrFU students.
